It is compatible with the Daylight as an addon or sometimes I just pack it empty on the inside of the pack as I find having a daypack comes in very handy for out and backs from a hub campsite etc. It carries everything that one needs for overnight and multiday trips very well and the hipbelt does a fantastic job of holding weight. Compared to a lot of ultralight packs it is a little on the heavy side but the material is super sturdy and I estimate it's a buy-it-for-life type purchase.
